Advocads (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the website advocads.webflow.io and provides Google Ad Grants management services to nonprofits. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly: When you contact us or sign up for our service, we collect your name, email address, organisation name, and any other information you choose to share.
Google account data: To manage your Google Ad Grants account, you will be asked to grant us access via Google’s OAuth process. We access only the permissions required to manage your campaigns and we never store your Google account credentials.
Usage and technical data: We collect standard web analytics data (pages visited, referral source, browser type, approximate location) via tools such as Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to deliver and improve our service, communicate with you about your account, respond to enquiries, send service-related emails (e.g. onboarding, billing notices), and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Where we send marketing communications, we will always give you a clear way to opt out.
3. Legal Basis for Processing (EEA & UK)
If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, our legal bases for processing your personal data are: (a) performance of a contract, when processing is necessary to deliver the services you have requested; (b) legitimate interests, for analytics and service improvement; and (c) consent, where you have explicitly agreed (e.g. marketing emails).
4. Data Retention
We retain personal data for as long as necessary to provide our services and meet our legal obligations. When you close your account we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 90 days, unless we are required by law to retain it longer.
5. Sharing of Information
We may share your information with trusted service providers who assist us in operating our business (e.g. email delivery, billing, analytics). These providers are contractually required to protect your data and may not use it for their own purposes.
We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Advocads, our users, or others.
6. Cookies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate our website and gather analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of certain parts of our site.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; object to or restrict certain processing; and data portability.
To exercise any of these rights, please email us at partners@advocads.com. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. We encourage you to use strong, unique passwords and to contact us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised access.
9. Children’s Privacy
Our services are not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
